Benefits Eligibility & Enrollment

You are eligible for VillageMD benefits if you work 30+ hours per week. Review the eligibility details for team members and dependents.

Within the first 30 days after your hire date, you must log in to ADP at workforcenow.adp.com to either elect or waive VillageMD benefits. If you don’t take action, you’ll have to wait for the next Annual Enrollment period unless you experience a qualified life event.

Your benefits effective date differs slightly depending on how you joined VillageMD.

  • If you were hired directly, benefit coverage begins on the first day of the month after your hire date, with one exception: you become eligible for the 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan 90 days after your hire date. You will be auto-enrolled on the first day of the month after the 90 days, at a 3% contribution level.
  • If you joined through an acquisition, benefit coverage begins on your first day as a VillageMD team member, with no waiting period to participate in the 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan.
